We’ve seen quite a few novel magic ideas with sharpies over the years, but the idea of Steve Fearson’s G-Sharp is new to us – an anti-gravity sharpie! Or more accurately, one which defies the normal rules of gravity. Some neat effects look to be possible with this innocent looking prop. £19.99

The Torn and Restored Card is a plot which seems to continually reinvent iteself in the world of close up card magic. Here is another ultra-visual solution distributed by Paul Harris. This is not the very latest thing out – but we have been watching The Unknown DVD in the last week or so and think it is brilliant. One of the card routines has already gone into my working repertoire, as has the very clever coin trick, Bag4Life, which everyone is talking about. 13 great routines.
