Super Mega Card Miracles is the latest understated title from Cameron (!) featuring his best versions of some of his favourite effects. Let’s go straight into…

…the tricks

Dedoner
I missed what the effect was first time because I was so amused by the idea of Cameron performing to himself! You’ll have to watch it to see what I mean! This is a kind of triumph meets colour changing deck card location. A strong effect with only basic card handling. Neato!

Collins Thing
Think ‘4 Ace Trick’ but with the kings. But instead of the Kings coming together in one packet, they all disappear in slightly different ways from their packets. And then they are found again in an increasingly more surprising way – the final one appearing in the card case. Minimal set up (you can probably guess what that is!) and pretty easy to do – if you know the most common packet trick count. Beautifully structured, I really like this and will try to keep it in my repertoire.

Switch Jack II
Two cards are chosen and replaced in the deck. Two jacks are placed under the card case, the other two ‘catch’ cards from the deck. The first ‘catch’ is the first selection. But the second is the other two jacks. When the card case is lifted, there is the second selection. A brain frying miracle Love the silliness incorporated into the explanation. You guys rock!

Thanks to Walton
A clever impromptu packet trick where you show 4 red cards and 4 black cards. The black cards are inserted into the red packet one at a time and keep changing colour to red. And in a final kicker four of the cards turn into the aces. This is a neat trick with lots of magic which is fairly easy to do – but you’ll need to work a bit to remember the order of the moves. I think that some spectators might need a little help remembering which packet is which – so clear signalling/presentation required. But a great effect. And it sets you up nicely for…

Precursor
This is the cousin of a 4 Ace trick, where each individual ace performs a different ‘effect’ before all instantly gathering together with the Ace of Spades. A typically whimsical presentation from Cameron and fairly easy to do if you have any familiarity with packet tricks. These two routines do flow really nicely and give you a great impromptu set.

Easy Hof
A card is chosen and lost in the deck. The four aces are used to identify the card. First spelling suit – and revealing the suit of the card. That ace is placed face down on the table. Then spelling value – at this point all the aces turn into the mates of the originally chosen card. And the tabled card turns into the selection. A fun routine with some moves – but not what we used to call finger-flinging!

The Super Mega Card Miracles keep coming – all on one DVD!

Mercury Card Load
So you’d guessed right? This is a way of loading a folded playing card into a playing card box (previously seen on his Murphy’s At the Table Lecture) Nice climax to a ambitious card routine or any other routine where you end up with a MCFed card! This kind of ‘impossible location’ is always powerful – and a big plus of this one is that no special props are needed – just practising a little move. Yet another reason to learn the Mercury Card Fold!

But Not Least
This is a triple card location (really a sandwich effect) where the Jokers do all the work – capturing the selections one by one – the final one turning first up on the way. There’s some really sneaky routining here which means that your work is done before they even know what the effect is. And oodles of misdirection for the only real move. This is top class Cameron.

Stand Up Christ Aces
The Four Aces are placed into the deck according to the spectator’s merest whim. Yet you can locate them in increasingly baffling ways. Nice use of an easy but fooling move from a Colombini routine. I’m running out of superlatives here – but again this is so neatly constructed – John Bannon would be proud. Great routine which you can do (as its name suggests) in the hands or at a table.

One flew over at my behest
This is a card across effect where the spectator’s freely thought of card jumps from one half of the deck to the other half. Invisibly of course. It uses a clever Bannon Move from Mentalissimo (which is always a good start). Clear effect, easy to do. Not the biggest mystery on the selection, but worth watching the performance if only to enjoy the goofy spectator!

Collectors Item
This is a super-smooth collectors plot. Another Bannon move gets you so far ahead you wouldn’t believe it. Everything seems so fair – yet the three selections which have been shuffled into three separate packets all end up ‘caught’ by the four kings. Brilliant construction – not too difficult to do – worker!

Captivated
A packet trick with 4 Kings and 4 Aces. It starts off like a ‘twisting the aces’ effect – but then halfway through the Aces and Kings swap place – and then instantly the Aces sandwich the Kings between them. Think Paul Harris’ Reset with a twist. There’s some clever thinking here, but for some reason this one didn’t captivate me.

Final Thoughts

I’ve seen a lot of Cameron Francis’ work but I really do think that Super Mega Card Miracles is the best collection of his work to date. As I write, another BBM volume featuring Cameron has just arrived through the door – so watch this space to see if it is immediately superseded!

Although the effects aren’t self-working, none of them require really difficult moves and with only a small amount of practise would be within reach of any but the absolute beginner. I don’t want to keep repeating myself, but these routines all show the signs of having been worked over to the last detail – they are brilliantly constructed to maximise impact and minimise effort.

Super Mega Card Miracles comes highly recommended. You can pick it up from BBM (who kindly supplied the review copy) for £21.99.

Mixed Perception is the latest BBM release from Cameron Francis, and packed full of magic it is too. It is a packet trick which is designed not to look like a packet trick. Here’s a brief description of the effect before our review.

The effect

The spectator chooses 6 cards from the deck and after they have been mixed selects one of them. The packet is shuffled and then mixed face up and face down a la Triumph. Then in an instant all the cards turn face down apart from the spectator’s chosen one. If that weren’t enough their selection is then shown to have a different colour back. And in a final kicker all the other cards are clearly shown to be blank.

Our thoughts

There’s a lot of magic here for very little effort. You are supplied with the necessary gaffed cards, succinct printed instructions and a link to a 16-minute video download. I love that you have both options for learning, because some of us still prefer written instructions (I know, we’re a dying breed…).

The teaching, in both formats, is clear and the routine is easy to do with little in the way of sleight of hand. You could do this as a straight ‘packet’ trick – but I think it is much stronger when the cards are taken from a full deck – so you’ll need to supply a matching red Bicycle deck to go with this.

Purists may not like this since you’re adding some ‘unusual’ cards to the deck which means you can’t use it for anything else. And John Bannon would tut quietly under his breath since the effect isn’t ‘fractal’ i.e. it doesn’t end clean and examinable. However, in return you get some very visual and strong magic in return. It really does play exactly as described above.

Mixed Perception is a neat little effect. And if the ‘one trick’ aspect puts you off, then you could use it as an opening effect, ditch the blank cards and then keep working with a normal (if slightly short) deck.

There’s not much to dislike about this. If I was being really picky, I didn’t like the contrasting back with my set. It came from the Karnival Fatal deck which is one of my least favourite Karnival decks. But more than that, the back design is so different from a normal deck that it may in a funny sort of way lessen the reaction from the spectator. A simply contrasting colour Bicycle card would be stronger in my opinion. But then you could very easily add one of those yourself!

I don’t think Cameron has ever put out a bad release and Mixed Perception is up to the usual standard. Great magic, easy to do, ready to go. Go out and get yourself a set…

You can pick Mixed Perception up directly from BBM (who kindly supplied the review copy) for £21.49

He takes a well-travelled plot (B’wave) and using a different method brings some great extra climaxes to the routine. And this review is doing double duty this month as Trick of the Month.

Briefly, the spectator chooses one of the four kings. This turns out to be the only face up card in a pack of 4. Then all the other cards are shown to be blank. The King is tabled and in an instant turns blank – and the remaining 3 cards turn blank. Everything can be examined at the end. Actually, that last bit isn’t true. But their jaws will be dropping so much you can just quietly pocket the cards.

You get all the necessary cards, and also (and I love this) both printed instructions – you know, using words – and a link to a video explanation. The video lasts about 16 minutes and includes explanations of the necessary sleights.

But if you’ve been around in magic for a while you’ll be able to jump to the chase much more quickly with the printed explanation.

The video is nicely filmed to normal BBM standards with clear explanations aided by the unflappable Liam Montier. It includes brief explanations of the Boris Wild’s Kiss Count, Vallerino’s Rumba Count and some more widely known counts and moves.

Nitrate is a really fun effect to perform and packs a lot of magic into a short space of time using just four cards. Cameron is clear – his presentation is a magic trick not a mentalism effect – and I think that’s a great call. A few ‘normal’ packet trick moves are required – but if you’ve been in card magic for any length of time you will have no problems with this.

Often in packet tricks that include this kind of instantaneous transformation often use some extra gaffs (which have often been treated roughly – let the reader understand) – one of the great strengths of Nitrate is that the cards can be handled so freely.

I know that I am a bit of a Cameron Francis fanboy – but Nitrate really is a very good addition to the world of packet cards. Many people ‘improve’ a standard and end up with a complicated or confusing routine. Cameron has managed to give a logical plot to justify his changes and produced a super piece of magic.

Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. Nitrate is available at magicshop.co.uk for £18.99 (at the time of writing).

Over the Top is the latest release from that talented magic creator Cameron Francis. It is a great effect where the spectator is the star. After a deck is shuffled and cut several times, the spectator manages to locate a chosen card simply by spelling out the answer to a number of questions. They then proceed to find all the matching cards, then the aces, finally locating a full royal flush in every suit. And if that weren’t enough, the faces of the rest of the cards then all vanish.

This is classic Cameron – it is easy to do (all but self-working – you will just need very basic card handling skills to pull this off), entertaining and packs a punch. The spectator will be genuinely baffled by how they ‘do the magic’ and the audience will be thoroughly entertained.

The DVD is shot to BBM’s usual high standards and includes a couple of live performances (including one from the Magic Castle, where Cameron used this to close his set each night) as well as a detailed explanation and some other fun stuff. If you look closely you’ll even find a discount code to save you money on other Cameron Francis titles. You also receive a special deck of Bicycle cards – all ready to use (without giving too much away, they’ve even done the pencil dots for you!).

Over the Top is a really strong routine which I think you will enjoy performing. It does require good audience management skills (especially the very first part), and to really sell it you will have to work hard at providing the necessary energy, but we all know that the secret of strong magic is in the presentation don’t we?

The deck is fairly obviously a one-trick pony and Cameron does include some basic thoughts on switching it in. It might have been nice to include a little more detail here – but there are plenty of resources you can go to for that information if you need any help (e.g. Giobbi’s masterful Art of Switching Decks – or Greg Wilson’s excellent Cold Case which we review here).

Re-set is very straightforward and can be done in front of the audience as you ‘clear up’ the final display – so this is very versatile. It really is hard to find anything to dislike. Except perhaps the name which I think is a bit Over the Top…

Available from Merchant of Magic for £27.50 (at the time of writing).
And the DVD begins with a classic Cameron Francis spoof intro! After that you are spoilt for choice with a list of 10 pretty much self-working magic effects with playing cards and business cards. Let’s go into some detail on the tricks.

Out of this packet

This is a small packet OOTW with an extra kicker finish. All the hard work is eliminated by the clever construction of the routine – all sorts of subtleties are built in. This avoids one of the well known challenges of the original routine, speeds it up (since you’re only working with a small number of cards) has an extra prediction kicker, and can be done any time with any pack of cards. Love it!

Either/Or

A double prediction effect where the spectator does all the work. They cut part of the deck several times and use the cards they arrive at to come to a number. Dealing down to this number in the remainder of the deck they come to a card which perfectly matches your prediction set aside at the start. As a double kicker the number they freely arrived at is written on the back. There’s a bit of set up for this one but the pay off is that the performance is very straightforward. This is a strong trick, but runs the risk of being a bit complicated to follow. Cameron’s done some nice subtle convincing work on the clever force involved.

COAT

This is a really novel effect using business cards – which is immediately a plus in my mind since it gives you the opportunity to leave one with your spectator! Five business cards with simple pictures on them are mixed and the spectator goes through a random process to turn them all face down but one. This one turns out to be the one you predicted in advance and has a really clever kicker ending. Based on an idea by the ingenious Max Maven – this is a corker – easy to do and very fooling. And of course it fits in your wallet so you can have it with you any time.

Sleightless Sightless

A nice little triple mind-reading effect – based on an Annemann classic. THe spectator cuts to three random cards. You read their mind to reveal the first, reveal the second without anyone having looked at it, and show that the third was pre-predicted in advance. I love the sneaky way your prediction sets you up for the force. There is a small set-up, but it is so easy that you could really easily set it up while playing with a borrowed deck putting it, for me, in the almost impromptu category.

Creation

The spectator ‘creates a card’ by cutting randomly in a shuffled deck and using a pair of cards to determine suit and value. They then deal through the rest of the pack and the magician stops them at a particular point which, of course, matches the card they have created. This uses a full deck stack but is worth it for a really fooling effect.

Find the Kings (with John Guastaferro)

A poker/gambling themed trick where the spectator does all the work and makes all the choices but still locates the four kings. Another small set up required, but incredibly economical set up for a very clever routine. Nice.

Humming Words

Another business card effect, this one using letters. After an involved mixing procedure the spectator makes a word out of the letters they have chosen. Not only can you reveal the word, you also show you have predicted the left over letter in advance. This utilises a principle I have seen used with playing cards but I think it works really well to do it with a smaller packet of cards. There are a number of different subtleties going on here which make for a really strong effect. Disclaimer – I’m a Scrabble addict – so this particularly appeals to me!

Gemini Annihilator

The clue’s in the title – another variation on the classic gemini trick. I’ve lost track of the number of variations I have seen on this effect (and I still perform the original often in an impromptu setting). The principle has been used slightly differently here to produce a prediction of a single card rather than a pair. This uses a normal deck with a couple of extra cards. Easy to do. A nice twist on a classic.

Coupling

Two spectators manage to choose the only red cards in a black packet in the fairest possible way. A nice theme of friendship/relationship carries this one along. It relies on a clever force by Terry Lagerould – which really makes me think I need to know more of his work because this is the second time I’ve come across something by him I have liked. Well worth a look – with a strong presentation this could be a killer.

Date Fate

The spectator freely mixes the cards in an elaborate way which is connected to a special date known only to them. In spite of the fairness of the procedure they have located four of a kind. Loosely based on a Bannon effect (and therefore of excellent heritage!) this is very fooling and produces a strong reaction. Can be set up on the fly and so completely impromptu. This is heading into my impromptu set…

As you will probably have gathered as you go through, I really like this material. There are some strong effects here, many of which require little or no preparation – which makes them exactly the kind of thing I like to have up my sleeve when someone asks me to show them something quick.

It’s a cracker.

Fixed Fate, his latest release, is a really pleasing addition to the card magic repertoire.

What is it?

In effect, the spectator freely selects a number and deals down to the card at that number. The other cards are shown to be different and blue-backed. When their selection is turned over it has a red back and their chosen number is boldly written on the back!

I suppose you could describe this as a distant cousin of an ACAAN type plot. Particular strengths are the fact that a different number (and card) can be chosen every time, and the spectator can turn the card over themselves – it all looks extremely fair. And it’s not at all difficult to do.

It’s not real magic, so a special deck is required. Some people have an issue with pocket space and the idea of having a whole deck of cards for a single effect, but I think the strength of this effect more than compensates for the space used.

What do you get?

We looked at the ‘digital’ version which involves a PDF which explains how to put your deck together (it only takes 5 or 10 minutes) and then contains a link to the video of performance and explanations. It’s also possible to order a physical version with a pre-made deck and a CD-ROM. However, especially for our UK readers, it is probably not worth spending the extra money (and postage) on the physical version – putting the deck together takes no special skill.

The explanation is very clear – everything is explained in plenty of detail. It’s not the highest quality video I’ve ever seen – and it ends somewhat abruptly! – but there are no problems here. It is simply ‘no frills’ – and for $15 (about £9 at the time of writing) what do you expect?

The reset is straightforward and could probably done in front of your spectator if you were careful – which makes this fairly viable in a walkaround setting (assuming the pocket space isn’t an issue for you). There were a few bonus ideas too, though they didn’t add much for me.

What do we think?

We like this a lot. The climax is very strong and the handling is very clean. Clever thinking takes all the hard work out of this so we think it is well worth a punt.

[And if you order before Wednesday 30th October you will also be provided with a link to another previously unpublished routine called Counter Intuitive. We won’t give full details here, but our skinny on that is – not the most exciting plot in the world – but extremely fair looking and fairly impromptu.]
[UPDATE – since we wrote this review, this has now been put out in a more ‘professional’ package by BBM – and the links have been updated accordingly]

Mind Mirror (Jack McMillan)

A really clever and very fair looking card discovery (originally published in his Expert Card Technique). Some set up required but beautifully simple.

Convergence (Cameron Francis)

This is a really commercial version of the ACAAN type plot. If you have a long memory you will remember this was released on the Annihilation Deck and for me (you can see our review here) it was stronger than the main effect. This is a brilliant solution which you can just concentrate on presenting.

Stock Exchanged (John Gustaferro)

Here’s how it plays – a pack of cards is well shuffled and mixed with the help of two spectators face up and face down. At the end of the process two predictions match and the rest of the cards right themselves and separate themselves into reds and blacks! Triumph meets OOTW meets a double prediction. Very clever routineing combines some principles you will probably know for a great effect.

Sense-Sational (Ryan Schlutz)

Crazy levels of very free-looking mixing end up with the location of 3 randomly chosen cards. There is a setup required but it is well worth it for the power of the effect. There are three phases to the routine each utilising different principles all of which are well concealed. You may well find yourself incorporating some of them in your own effects.

Poker Pairadox (John Bannon)

A mixed up set of cards instantly separates out into matching pairs with a nice presentational angle. Insanely easy and very visual looking.

Four Most (Peter Duffie)

This is a clever twist/extension of an effect you may have done before. Three spectators stop you at random points as you deal out some cards and insert bank notes to mark the spot. One of them stops during dealing for your note and at the end you have located the four aces. Showy, easy to do, engaging. This one is going straight into the working set!

Password Fallacy (Jim Steinmeyer)

Whilst I’m a big fan of Steinmeyer’s books, I must confess I’ve never seen any of his close-up effects, so I was curious to see what this was like. It is effectively a spelling effect – but the method is such that with care it could be done over the phone or in any other entirely hands off way. It’s not a massive mystery but it is a puzzling little effect with a logical premise and if presented well it should go down very nicely.

Amara Rises Again (Ryan Matney)

I’d never heard of Ryan Matney before, but this is a nice little effect. The spectator ‘goes digging’ in the pack of cards and by a very fair looking process manages to identify the card which matches one isolated in the card box, and also find its three mates. An engaging plot helps keep this otherwise slightly ‘procedural’ trick moving. The ‘force’ is very clever.

Blind Choice (Roy Walton)

A clever little colour-matching effect involving five spectators. Think OOTW but without such a lengthy dealing procedure and involving more people. Compact, clever thinking as you would expect from Roy Walton.

Final thoughts

I think there is some really strong material on here which would be really helpful for someone just starting out, and in the hands of someone with a bit more performing experience they would become miracles. I will certainly be using some of these.

If I had a minor niggle, it is that a couple of the effects have been released before – on BBM disks – but at least they have re-filmed them so it isn’t just a cut and paste job More positively, as we’ve probably said before, Liam Montier has a real gift for explaining things very clearly – so full marks on the explanations. I also note the blatant use of attractive women on the main menu without making comments!

All in all, a great disk – go get it. The release date is 17th June and there are all kinds of pre-order deals on – we’ve highlighted a couple below.

(Oh – and for the next week you have a chance to win it and a bundle of other goodies in our competition!)

You can get it direct from the horse’s mouth at BBM.

Merchant of Magic are offering a deal with Volume One and Volume Two together with 25% off.

Freepostmagic are offering a free deck of Karnival Hornets or Karnival Deathheads with pre-orders while stocks last.

Here are our suggestions this month…

Mickael Chatelain is a clever magical thinker and he looks to have come up with another cracking idea here. Imagine a borrowed coin effortlessly passing through the cellophane on your packet of cards (or cigarettes or chewing gum). That’s the effect with Cello. And apparently everything can be examined (though we’ve not seen it in person yet to confirm or deny that!). £33.99 (also available in blue bicycle gimmick)

If you can’t wait to receive your magic in the post, this little e-book from Cameron Francis might offer some instant gratification. Get Small includes ten routines that can be done impromptu with any deck of cards. Just the sort of stuff everyone needs in their repertoire for when someone asks “show us a trick…” and you can download it straight away. £9.99

We have a fondness for some of the decks coming out of the Blue Crown, and there is certainly a touch of elegance to this Blue Verve Deck. Follow the link to check out the extra stylish court cards. A high quality, limited edition deck of cards. Very smart. £7.99

Have a great month…

Which is a roundabout way of introducing the fact that my second daughter was born last week! This magical appearance was made early and faster than you could say ‘Dai Vernon’s Variant Through the Fist Flourish.’ I mention this partly as a proud dad, and partly to explain why this review is so delayed that the DVD is not that new any more! Anyway, let’s get back to the magic…

Of the making of many tricks there seems to be no end. And the title of this new DVD makes quite a bold claim – to be the ‘ultimate’. Let’s have a brief run down through the effects (slightly briefer than some reviews – see above!) before making a few more general comments.

Ace Thang
This is a nifty little ace location combined with an unexpected in the box sandwich effect. We love that you get yourself ready right in front of their eyes and that all 4 ace revelations look quite different. Quite a lot of moves – but no nasty ones. Liam Montier also provides a variation on Ace Thang which is slightly more technically demanding but looks very fair.

Sly Cheese
Sly Cheese follows on well from the Ace Thang routine. A selected card and pair of aces swap places in the cleanest possible way. Nicely routined.

Interchangeling
This is one of the few performances on the disk for real people [I don’t count BBM cronies as real people – though they are preferable to L&L audiences!] – and is all the better for it. 4 of a kind are distributed around body. A card is selected and lost in pack. Then the original 4 of a kind change one by one into the selected card and its mates. An interesting plot and very effective.

Hofwich – a little sandwich effect involving jokers and aces – which more or less works itself. Perhaps a bit involved – not what the late Arthur Setterington would have called a ‘straight line mystery’ – but neat nonetheless.

Zombieland – I suppose this is something like a cross between the cannibal cards and wild card plot on steroids – a whimsical little story based effect with a lot of magic. Requires a few moves but well within reach of all.

Instinct – well-constructed a two card location with a logical plot which manages to combine a transposition for a kicker finish.

Killer Trifecta – a 3 card location including a vanishing deck. All the work is well hidden. As featured on one of the BBMTV episodes…

Elevation – If you haven’t already noticed, Cameron loves his transpositions and this little elevator effect finishes with yet another one. A visual sandwich leads into an elevator/ambitious classic sequence which leads into the final transposition. Nice.

Wilder – a wild card effect with jokers which first adopt the value of a chosen card, and then become the mates of a second card. Uses a count I’d not seen before (the ‘Rumba count’ – which does require a table – though there is a non-table alternative mentioned). Cameron also takes you through an Ollie Mealing variation on the effect with only one selection.

Uppers – the four kings assemble from different parts of the deck and then (here’s the transposition again) turn into two cards selected earlier.

The P***ing contest – a hilarious presentation for magicians and probably quite entertaining for lay people too. 3 magicians trying to outdo themselves with increasingly small packets of card. Lots of magic. Fairly easy to do.

Getting Even – this is a really great small packet version of OOTW involving two spectators. Really like this and truly impromptu (see discussion below!).

Selected Assembly – after the apparent failure of a ‘find a card’ trick, an ace assembly in which the ‘discards’ become the mates of the spectator’s chosen card and the aces morph into the selection itself.

Some general thoughts

It is a good job Liam is there for the explanations because Cameron keeps on forgetting to explain some of the smaller steps until Liam prompts him! That being said, with his help, everything is well explained and well credited.

We love the look and feel – the inkblot graphics were very pleasing and enjoyed the variety of locations for the different effects.

When is impromptu not impromptu?
Magicians have a variety of opinions about this. Some would call a special prop which fits in your pocket and can be carried around all the time ‘impromptu’ because it enables you to perform ‘seemingly impromptu’ miracles. Others would prefer the effect to be possible anywhere without any special equipment at all.

In the context of card magic I suppose it is a little more obvious – it certainly means no gaff cards – and it should mean can be performed with any borrowed deck any time. It is those last two words that will divide some. Many of the effects on this DVD can be performed with a borrowed, shuffled deck, but still require some kind of ‘set up’. Cameron seems happy to do this in full view whilst chatting away to the audience – and I think most of the time you can get away with this. But I’m not sure I would want to do too many of that kind of trick in one sitting. On the other hand, there are some strong effects which would well answer the ‘show us a trick’ request so often thrown at magicians.

I leave the final decision to the magical philosophers, but I think most people would find several routines here which would serve them well.

Available direct from BBM or at your favourite dealer…

We’ve got some new reviews coming soon, but in the meantime, here are our recommendations for Trick of the Month…

For the instant gratification junkies out there, Kapow is an instant download so literally no waiting to learn these routines! We always enjoy the thinking of messers Montier and Francis, and with 10 effects in this 36 page ebook it is excellent value at only £10.99.

Most card magicians I know make a feature of card to wallet, and most of us also have an obsession about getting the best wallet! This is a brand new version of the card to wallet which is already getting some good reviews. The advertised feature is an instant reset for an envelope inside the wallet to make it even more impossible. £54.99

Our final recommendation this month promises to be a very powerful new principle. Again, we haven’t seen The Spiral Principle yet (though we will review it fully when we do) but early impressions on the web seem positive. Powerful magic with a borrowed deck, including a powerful Out Of This World routine and an ACAAN variant. £23.50
